We had host a recruitment talks at Southern college on 1st July 07 and subsequently another very sucessful Career Talk on 10th August 2007 at University Teknology Malaysia Johore Bahru.These recruitment talks is to provide an opportunity for graduating students to know more about the company/organization as well as the position stated in the letter.



Efforts are needed for the organizing of such recruitment talk as we find it is viable and practical for recruiting more talent to fill in various positions in our organization.

The recruitment talk was successfully organized with the help from Ms. Carine the person in charge of student affair dept from Sourthern College. We realize that it was not an easy task for coordinating and arranging this recruitment talk.

They are total of 18 participants that attending the career talk from Sourthen College and 55 participants from UTM majority are from the electrical and IT courses.

The responses are overwhelming as the participants had raised various questions pertaining to the jobs related matters. From the responses we noticed that they were more interested to work in a sizeable and well established company.


They are very impressed on our company set up and many of them have shown the interests and are likely to work in our organization.

Some participants had enquire if our company will provide accommodation if they choose to work in KL as product supports engineer as many of them are local base in Johor.

Our expert career consultant Mr. Simon Ng is better qualified to give accurate career guidance to the audience.

We have also set some questionnaires for the purpose of getting their contact.

The audience is busy filling up our evaluation form.

We lack of experience in organizing such event as it was our first time to have such recruitment talk at college and there are still many area need further improvement.



It is a platform that enables optimum matches among employees and employers.While we can seek out the best talents,especially those who have professional qualifications in engineering.




Other branches are encourage to adopt similar approaches at the near by college or university for employ high quality people.”It is our hope that we will be able to find the right candidates in order to fill the openings within our organization.”

We hope to be able to indentify and hire talented graduates.
This is a good forum to reach out to a large pool of great talents with high caliber and talent.”

This event have received encouraging response and is very well supported.it has been a positive experience for us,and on the whole,it is a very well organised event and a commendable effort by the college as well as the university.
