Chinese New Year Dinner

The Chinese New Year celebration dinner was held at Jogoya restaurant on the 15th Feb 08.There are all together 79 persons of us from KL with the combination of sales dept , HQ and Klang sales dept.

See who grabbed the most thai coconuts ?

Jagoya is located at 3rd floor, StarHill Gallery. A noted difference at Jogoya is that you are required to pay first before enter into thier premisese which is different from other buffet restaurants.

It cost about 100++ per pax and you are limited to 3 hours. I honestly tell you 3 hours is not enough to try everything. When some of the popular food especially the bakes BBQ escargots and fried tempura we really have to stand there to fight for it before it is all been snatch up.

Mouth watering bake escargots.Let the picture speak for itself.

You all are also welcome to spend me a meal there in case you need my help to get there.

There is the availability of freshly made to order dishes.

For those food need to be order, the clips are available on your table with the number so that they will know where to deliver the food to. After dropping the clip into the bowl at the display console and the freshly prepared dish you “ordered” will be serve to you in few minutes.

There are some VIP dishes where you can only redeem the dishes with a coupon.
To become a VIP, you need to spend at least RM1200 on a single receipt. And so, on your subsequent visit, you are entitled to a voucher per head to redeem your VIP dishes.

This is one of the VIP food, a king prawn, baked king prawn, really nice and sweet.

The credit goes to our "Sek Ka" The makan queen Ms.Ngai for suggesting such a wonderful place for Chinese New Year treat.

You can help yourself with the free flow of Chinese tea, Japanese green tea and also other beverages. Tea pots and Tea bags are available for self service but the Tea pot is too small and it is just enough for serving of 3 small Chinese tea cups. The place is simply huge and you need to go quite a distance to get it refill.

Eat eat eat Yummy Yummy Yummy !

The "Yee San" is ready for Tossing.

Sushi lover! Salmon Sashimi. Slurp !!!

Table are usually messy after so many round of foods for buffet style dinner.

Ms.Devi is so worry for gaining weight.

There are numerous buffet lines, the Japanese sushi and sashimi station, Chinese dishes, dim sum and seafood soup, western seafood, indian delicacies, tepanyakki and stir fry seafood, juice and drinks, and desserts. There is enough selection for every picky eater.

Overall, we had a really good time at Jogoya and would probably go there again next time.
